Join us for an exciting in-person and virtual clinic where you can get expert legal advice for your entrepreneurial journey. The Entrepreneurs Assistance Program (EAP) is designed to provide valuable guidance to budding entrepreneurs like you!

The Entrepreneurs Assistance Program is a free legal clinic offered by the North Carolina Bar Foundation in which volunteer attorneys provide pro bono business law advice and counsel to small business owners and entrepreneurs through webinars and clinics held in partnership with non-profit organizations throughout the state that advise small business owners, including Prospera, CLIMB, Mountain Bizworks, the ECU & Asheville University SBTDC, and clients from the NC Community Colleges Small Business Center Network (SBCN), free of charge. Small business owners and entrepreneurs eligible for this informational session include clients of Prospera, CLIMB, Mountain Bizworks, the ECU & Asheville University SBTDC, and clients from the NC Community Colleges Small Business Center Network (SBCN).

All EAP webinar sessions will be conducted both virtually and in person to provide flexibility and access for all participants. This upcoming session will focus on Business Formation and Entity Selection, a critical topic for entrepreneurs and small business owners who are starting a new venture or considering changes to their existing structure. During the session, we will explore the key differences between sole proprietorships, partnerships, LLCs, and corporations, and the compliance requirements they can have on your business.
