Join us for the Scott Institute’s Entrepreneurship Lecture Series featuring Dr. Renuka Hyderkhan, materials innovator and energy entrepreneur at Carnegie Mellon University.
Dr. Hyderkhan designs custom reactors using advanced semiconductor-based chemical and physical vapor deposition techniques. As co-founder and founding engineer of SeaLion Energy Inc., she is pioneering safer, longer-lasting batteries for electric vehicles, aviation, and grid storage. Her research and startup have been supported by ARPA-E, the U.S. Department of Energy, CMU’s Scott Institute for Energy Innovation, and Innovation Works Pittsburgh. She was also named the 2023–24 Innovation Commercialization Fellow at CMU’s Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship.
