The Castle Teaching Room is on the 4th floor of the Judge Business School. From the entrance, turn right and take the elevator or stairwell (next to the elevator) to the 4th floor. Exit the elevator straight ahead and follow the diagonal path. Enter the doors, and the room will be the door on the right.
Distinguished Guests
Richard Gendal Brown is Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director at R3. Richard's team builds Corda, the world's most advanced enterprise blockchain platform. Prior to R3, Richard was Executive Architect in the Banking and Financial Markets unit at IBM. His personal blog is available at https://gendal.me/.
Ben Wyeth currently works as a Distinguished Engineer at Chorum Group (the architects of Cordite). Chorum explores the use of distributed ledgers and blockchains to disintermediate existing centralised business models through decentralised applications. Ben gained experiences with blockchain technology through his experience with the Emerging Technology team at RBS.
Brian Nolan is the founder of Finteum. Finteum aims to create a global financial market for intraday borrowing on distributed ledger technology. Brian gained experience in intraday liquidity and banking infrastructure as a Director at UBS and is currently part of R3’s Entrepreneurship in Residence program. Brian completed his MBA at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School in 2018
R3 is an enterprise blockchain software firm working with a broad ecosystem of more than 300 members and partners across multiple industries from both the private and public sectors to develop on Corda, our open-source blockchain platform, and Corda Enterprise, a commercial version for enterprise usage.
