Participants will learn about executive function and what it looks like in older children. They will explore strategies to support executive function development and leave with techniques to improve these skills through exercises and games.

•Learners will outline how executive function presents itself in school-aged children.
•Learners will explain how to support executive function in their teaching.
•Learners will model activities that increase executive function in school-aged children.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
