I only see one date listed on the ticket at checkout. Isn't this a three-week workshop?

Accepted Answer

Yes, workshop sessions will occur once a week for 3 weeks. Please note that at checkout, you will only be able to select the May 1 start date for this workshop. Purchasing the ticket for the start date of the workshop will give you access to the full three-week workshop (May 1, May 8, and May 15).

What can I do if my organization doesn't allow me to pay by credit card?

Can more than one person from my organization attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes! One ticket allows two people from your organization to attend. Want more attendees (3+)? Simply purchase additional tickets! Workshops are most impactful when your team learns together, shares knowledge, and builds skills for stronger outbreak response and prevention.

Question 4

Can multiple people attend with a single registration?

Accepted Answer

Two people may attend the workshop with one registration. The two people needs to remain the same throughout the course of the workshop (3 weeks) to follow along with the building concepts of the workshop.

Can I have a discount if I only bring one person from my organization instead of two?

Accepted Answer

No.  Discounts are not available if you choose to only have one person from your organization attend.  The added, buy one ticket, get two attendees  is a bonus, so the cost of a single registrant is still the same.

Question 6

Do two people have to attend this workshop since it is listed as team-based?

Accepted Answer

No! You are welcome to attend this workshop as the sole representative from your organization.  We offer the team-based (buy one, get two attendees) model to aid in uptake and implementation of learnings, however, you can still attend on your own.

What accessibility practices will the workshop use?

Accepted Answer

We turn Zoom auto-captions on for each workshop. We will send out copies of any presentation or handouts ahead of the workshop session. After the workshop, we will share any referenced resources and you will have access to the event recording for 30 days.

Is this workshop being hosted online or in person?

Accepted Answer

This is an online workshop. We will use Zoom technology for all sessions. If you'd like us to host a personalized session for your health department or conduct an in-person event, please reach out to us at info@pophealthinnovationlab.org.

Do I have to be an epidemiologist to attend?

Accepted Answer

No!  To participate effectively in this workshop, you can hold a variety of titles involved working in outbreak response and prevention in healthcare settings.

We will send out copies of any presentation or handouts ahead of each workshop session. After the workshop, we will share any additional referenced resources.

What currency does this workshop series use?

We are based in the United States and our registration is in US dollars.

Question 12

Are tickets refundable?

Accepted Answer

Tickets are refundable until two weeks prior to the event (April 17). Registrants who cancel will receive a refund of their registration fee minus Eventbrite fees and a 10% PHIL processing fee which covers non-recoupable administrative expenses associated with registration and event preparation.

All refund requests should be emailed to info@pophealthinnovationlab.org. Please note, we are unable to process refunds after a refund deadline has passed. The refund request deadline is April 17, 2025.
