EnglishConnect Class Summary
Purpose:
EnglishConnect is designed to help individuals improve their ability to speak, understand, read, and write in English while building confidence and creating meaningful connections with others. The program supports learners in achieving personal, educational, and professional goals, and it fosters spiritual growth by inviting the influence of the Savior into the learning experience.
Overview:
Each class provides a supportive and friendly environment where participants practice English conversation, learn grammar and vocabulary, and strengthen communication skills. Lessons emphasize real-life language use through discussion, activities, and group practice. Classes also include short spiritual thoughts that inspire learners to apply gospel principles such as faith, diligence, and service in their language learning.
Format:
- Classes are typically held once or twice a week for 60–90 minutes.
- Lessons include speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities.
- Participants are encouraged to study and practice between classes using provided materials.
