Learn to build robots using LEGO bricks, learning to work with Bluetooth Smart hubs, motors, motion and tilt sensors that children to program robots and get them to execute different tasks. Once they learn an introductory visual-based coding language that uses drag-and-drop coding blocks, children will move to the next level, learning to use more complex coding programs to control their robots and develop robotics games.
Through these hands-on tasks, children develop and use their engineering and computational thinking, problem-solving, design and explore their solutions while building confidence to work with robotics and technology. They investigate how to design, write and debug codes that accomplish specific goals, how to use algorithms, sequence, and repetition in programs, work with variables and sensors; input and outputs. Every session they apply mathematics, physics and algorithms, engaging in tasks that clarify otherwise abstract notions such as friction, speed, the relationship between distance and time, different kinds of sensors etc.
