This event is organized by the Level Up Lab student team of the Politecnico di Torino in collaboration with IGDA Italy.

Have you ever wondered why some games have an incredible feel, while others don't? Is it a case? Of course not: that is the role of a 3C designer.

Noélie Prost, Senior Core Gameplay Designer, who worked 6+ years as a Game Designer, previously at Ubisoft Milan and now at Creative Assembly, will tell us about it in this talk.

This presentation will start by a deep dive into what 3Cs (Character, Camera, Controls) are and why they should be one of your top priorities throughout development. In the second part we will focus on the specific role of a 3C designer, who are they and where do they fit in a team.

Continue straight ahead until the second internal courtyard. Stay on the left of the courtyard until, on your left, you will find a street with vending machines: continue along that street keeping an eye on the classrooms on your right.
