Description

Energy Conservation - Networking & Inspiration

Join us January 24 from 3-5 pm at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens where we can forget it's winter and talk about energy conservation.

We'll start with networking with out sustainability peers. Next is an interactive discussion about the why, how, and "the rest of the story" on implementing energy conservation in businesses. This conversation will be aimed towards business decision makers, not building engineers. We will help you understand how to value and implement controls as part of your overall building performance approach. Our expert speaker panel consists of:

Eric Williams of the Rochester Institute of Technology will discuss how technology leads to energy conservation.

Jeff Burns, President of Entuit, will speak about the art and science of sensors monitoring energy use.

Tiffany Vanderwerf, Chief Conservation Officer at the Buffalo Zoo, will provide a business perspective on energy conservation.
