Every quarter, E for Endometriosis hosts a free online session dedicated to spotlighting different aspects of endometriosis — from diagnosis to mental health and fertility. This quarter, we’re delving into a topic that affects many but is often misunderstood:

Endometriosis & Chronic Pain: Understanding Its Impact Beyond the Pelvis.

Endometriosis isn’t just a reproductive condition. It can present itself anywhere in the body and can cause chronic pain in areas far beyond the pelvic region — including the diaphragm, bowels, lungs, and nervous system. These symptoms can severely impact daily functioning and overall quality of life.

In this session, we are honoured to welcome Dr. Diana Chan, a Specialist in Anaesthesiology and Pain Medicine from The Pain Clinic @ Orchard, who will share her expertise on:

  • The various pain presentations of endometriosis beyond the pelvis
  • Why some pain treatments work while others don’t
  • Holistic and multidisciplinary pain management strategies
  • A dedicated Q&A segment to address your general questions

This is a free quarterly Zoom session, but registration is required as seats are limited. The Zoom link will be emailed to all registrants 3 days before the event, so please ensure your email is accurate during sign-up.
