Topic: Testing and developing microservices - Wiremock and Mountebank in action

Developing and testing (micro) services in isolation with multiple dependencies with other services can be challenging, especially when some are yet to be developed. Luckily, some tools can help you mock them.

We will focus on Wiremock and Mountebank and show you how they can be used for functional, load, and resilience testing. Through demo examples, we will demonstrate how traffic between a microservices, and its dependencies can be monitored using proxy mode and how you can check if your services are resilient using a fault simulation mechanism..

About the speakers:

Drazen Vreca is a Senior Test Automation Engineer with more than nine years of experience in the IT industry. During this period, he has worked on various projects in the payment industry, insurance, health care, and education. In addition, he has worked on different types of automation testing - UI, backend, API, and mobile.

Lazar Mladenovic holds the position of Senior Test Automation Engineer. He has been an Endavan for almost two years. His experience is mainly based on projects related to the financial industry.

The networking session will be organised after the presentation.
