History of Community Composting

Visitors will learn about the history of Community Composting in NYC and get an inside look into how we started our initiative at Frank White Memorial Garden through campaigning.

1:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Volunteer

Participants will be able to participate in the process of HotBox Composting and learn about the 6 steps to breaking down food scraps from beginning to end. In addition to being a part of other fun activities being highlighted in the garden during the duration of the event.
