Employing the Future: Planning for Work-Based and Career-Connected Learning

In this FREE 90 minute session, participants will develop a shared understanding of work-based learning (WBL) and career-connected learning (CCL) and explore how these approaches can be integrated across K-12 education. We will focus on building the capacity of educators and curriculum developers to effectively contextualize learning, ensuring that students can see the direct connections between their classroom experiences and future careers. Through engaging discussions and practical strategies, we will also examine the critical role that WBL and CCL play in advancing educational equity, providing all students with the skills and opportunities needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving workforce. Join us to explore how these powerful learning models can transform education and open doors to brighter futures for all students.
