Since its establishment in 1903 as a mission of the United Women in Faith, The Vashti Center has served children and youth with a variety of mental health and behavioral challenges. Vashti provides a variety of services from trauma-informed care, an after-school clubhouse, family counseling, in-school mental health services, and a residential program for youth in the state's care. Vashti also provides community training for volunteers, teachers, foster parents, healthcare workers and law enforcement. Vashti primarily serves a six-county region in Southwest Georgia and the entire State for the residential program.
