About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

You’ve been told you’re “too sensitive,” “too emotional,” or just “too much.”

So you learned to push your feelings down and keep it moving.

But what if your emotions weren’t the problem?

In this 90-minute online workshop, we’ll explore:✅ How perfectionism teaches us to hide, numb, or rationalize emotions✅ The emotional cost of always trying to “keep it together”✅ How to notice, name, and express your emotions without shame✅ Guided art-based activities to safely process what you’re feeling (no artistic skill needed!)

This workshop is for you if you:~Struggle to show emotion even to people close to you~Worry about “overreacting” or “being too much”~Tend to intellectualize your feelings instead of sitting with them~Want a space to feel without fixing, analyzing, or performing

What’s Included:~Live 90-minute online workshop~ Guided art making prompts~ Supportive group reflection (you choose how much you share)~Led by a licensed therapist + registered art therapist

Spots are limited to keep the group cozy, creative, and safe for reflection.

Ready to unlearn emotional shame and reconnect with yourself?

Join us on August 26 and give your emotions the space they’ve always deserved.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be “artistic” to join this workshop?

Not at all! No artistic experience is required. The art activities are designed to help you reflect, not to produce something “perfect.” Think of it as a safe space to create and connect (messiness is welcome).

Is this therapy?

While I’m a licensed therapist and registered art therapist, this is an educational and reflective group not a therapy session. It’s designed to support your emotional awareness and self-expression, but it doesn’t replace individual therapy.

Will I be expected to share personal experiences?

Sharing is always optional. You’ll have the opportunity to reflect in small group discussion, but there’s no pressure to speak unless it feels right for you.

What materials will I need?

You’ll receive a simple supply list after registration. Basic items like paper, markers, pens, and any creative tools you already have on hand will work just fine.

How many people will be in the group?

To keep things intimate and safe, spots are limited to 15 participants.

Can I invite a friend?

Absolutely! Feel free to share the link. Healing is even better with people you trust.

Is this only for women?

The space is open to anyone who resonates with the themes of perfectionism, emotional expression, and creative self-discovery. All genders welcome.

What if I can't make it live?

There’s no replay but don’t worry, this workshop is part of a monthly series! Each month brings a new theme, so if you miss this one, you can catch the next live session and dive in fresh. Think of it like a creative reset you can return to when you’re ready, we’ll be here.
