About this event

We are wired for love, to reach for one another, to co-regulate through caresses. Then why is it that dating and romantic relationships can be one of the toughest things to figure out. In our most intimate relationships, we find ourselves acting in ways that surprise us and don’t know how to get the attention, love, and understanding from our partner that we are so desperate for. This experiential and educational workshop designed for singles and couples alike will help you understand what happens that gets us stuck in our most intimate of relationships and how to unravel our wounds and fears so that we can drop into the deep capacity for love and connection that each one of us has.Based off Emotionally Focused Therapy and Mindful Embodiment practices, you will learn the basics of attachment theory, how to use the steps that occur in a couple’s negative cycle that to work through triggers and transform common push-pull dynamics that couples get stuck in, and practice communication and mindful embodiment tools to get you in touch with your heart’s longing and express it in a way that draws your lover to you.Join with your partner to deepen your connection and communication or alone to heal the stuck places from past partnerships and prepare your nervous system for a love that will last a lifetime.
