The Atlanta FEB invites you to a Virtual Emotional Intelligence (EI) instruction and assessments training - one class comprised of two 1/2 day sessions on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 and Tuesday, April 7, 2020 from 9 am to 12 pm (EDT).
Registration - $125 class session + $9.24 processing fees = Total $134.24.
Registration includes personalized EQ-i 2.0 online assessment and a 30-minute coaching phone session with each participant (separate from virtual class time).
Class Description: You probably know people who have great instincts that go beyond just "being smart". You've also probably had experiences with people who are really smart, but struggle with interpersonal skills. These struggles can be attributed to low emotional intelligence. Emotional Intelligence skills are learnable and should be continually developed for maximum performance. In fact, research show there is a strong link between emotional intelligence and increased organizational and personal performance.

The Atlanta Federal Executive Board serves as a vital link to intergovernmental coordination by identifying common ground and building cooperative relationships. Since their inception by Presidential Directive in 1961, Federal Executive Boards (FEB’s) have served as models for partnership-based government. FEB’s also have a long history of establishing and maintaining valuable communication links to prepare for, and respond to local and national emergencies. While promoting issues related to Administration initiatives, they provide target training programs, employee development, shared resources, and local community outreach and participation. The Board’s role as a conduit of information and a meeting point for a variety of agencies – each with a different mission – is critical to a more effective government.
