Embracing the Adventure: Maximizing Your Experience Abroad

This online and global seminar, hosted by the University of Richmond, Charles University Prague, and NYU Prague, aims to encourage students to embrace their diverse cultural experiences while studying abroad. A student panel of former study abroad U.S., Czech, and Slovakian students will highlight intercultural experiences at their host Exchanges, revealing both the delightful surprises and unforeseen challenges they have faced in new cultural settings. Our team will contextualize foundational cultural dimensions and traits that inform the panelists’ experiences. Finally, attendees will leave with new cultural knowledge and practical insights, encouraging them to navigate their international experiences with confidence and curiosity.
