You were born an original. Don’t die a copy.
In a hospital room in December 2003, just before becoming a father, I asked my parents: “What advice do you have for someone just starting this journey?”
My dad said something I’ll never forget: “Raise them up according to their personality… That’s where I went wrong with you. I raised you like a typical boy… Little did I know I was raising a son with the heart of a poet.”
That moment sparked a lifetime lesson:
People, including YOU, must be treated according to their unique personality. That includes embracing your own.
What you will discover:
• Your dominate personality style
• The difference between maintenance and mastery
• How to identify the different personality style in other people
• How to better communicate and collaborate with others
• What makes you different
• How to best serve God according to your personality style
• How to embrace who God made you to be!
📖 Romans 12:11 – “Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.”
📖 Galatians 6:4-5 (MSG) – “Make a careful exploration of who you are... then sink yourself into that.”
📖 Ephesians 2:10 – “You are God’s masterpiece... created to do the good things He planned long ago.”
• You are not just like everybody else.
• What makes you tick — and what ticks you off — is unique to you.
• Stop comparing. Start embracing. •
God made you on purpose, for a purpose.
• Don’t aim to fit in. Aim to live out the personality God gave you.
Maximize your God-given strengths. That’s how you serve the world best.
“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” — Attributed to Einstein
