Join Karen Bennett and Niki Januzzi for a beautiful & deeply meaningful workshop - blending mindful conversations about death, dying, creating your own end-of-life plans with a death doula, and using gentle yoga to cope with stress, grief and blocked energies within the body. A powerful combination! An inspirational evening of reflection that will inspire you to live your best life NOW.
This workshop is perfect for ALL adults - of all ages. It benefits each of us personally, those in caregiver roles, and those of us who love our family/friends enough to make insightful decisions ahead of time.
Far from morbid, this workshop aims to remove fear and inspire you to live your best life now. We engage in powerful, thought-provoking discussions on what end-of-life plans might look like if you had a short time to live. By reflecting on needs, wants, relationships, your hopes/dreams, we evaluate what takes priority and what can fall by the wayside. By embracing life and death, you may find yourself making changes to live a life full of purpose and meaning.
In the Yoga practice included in this workshop, we will explore a very still, quiet and slow moving practice open to any body. Yoga assists us in processing our emotions through movement and awareness. This practice will empower you to add your own tools to your toolbox that you can call on at any moment of reflection, stress, grounding and working through your challenges. Our yoga practice allows us to come into our bodies to feel and experience life through sensations and energy.
