Embodied Mindfulness with Jamie McHugh
Overview
In a world that pulls us up into our heads, EMBODIED MINDFULNESS offers a way home: a daily somatic sitting practice that helps the body settle and the mind rest. This easily repeatable approach uses breath, vocalization, self-contact, and subtle movement to quiet mental noise and cultivate grounded presence.
By giving the body something focused to do, the mind naturally relaxes into stillness. As you learn to sit with comfort, support, and ease, the movement of breathing becomes your direct path inward — a simple, embodied way to center your mind and restore balance
This session - an introduction to Embodied Mindfulness - will consist of an introduction, a guided experience of 360 degree breathing and individual variations, and a Q&A.
