Embodied Joy
Overview
The world is giving us innumerable reasons to be sorrowful, downtrodden, or outraged.
We need joy to fuel our inner resilience. It’s a courageous act to stare down challenges and adversities and say “I will not let you beat me down.”
I am inspired by my father to offer these workshops. At the core, his life was characterized by his ability to endure great hardship yet maintain a positive outlook.
In the final weeks of his 10 year journey with prostate cancer, I have a treasured memory of him sitting on the apartment porch, looking out on the city below, and singing Glen Campbell’s Rhinestone Cowboy with a smile on his face.
He was literally singing into the face of death itself. How badass is that?
Let’s take a page out of his book and bolster our spirits together.

December:
Metabolizing and Composting 2025
This month’s session will center around mindful retrospective. Using the 4 seasons as our perspective for discovery, we’ll harvest and integrate insights from the year. This session will primarily lean on small and large group work.
Through our activities we’ll examine questions like:
- What did you learn? 🧠
- What challenges did you overcome? 🏔️
- What are you releasing? 🍂
- What seeds will you nurture? 🌱
