Try out creative tools for strengthening our listening skills--that can be fun and connective
How can Embodied Empathy strengthen relationships?
Embodied Empathy (E2) is a simply a term we’re using for playful and physical empathy skills, derived from improvisation, that can be readily applied in a variety of settings. In this series of practice groups, we’ll explore together ways that Embodied Empathy can enhance relationships.
For instance, E2 can help:
- Family members play in new ways and approach conflict more collaboratively
- Romantic partners feel more deeply heard
- Friends have fun and learn new things about each other
- Colleagues better understand each other across differences
You might find Embodied Empathy especially useful…
if you are a teacher, group facilitator, coach, expressive therapist, improviser, and if you simply want some new, satisfying and creative ways to get along better with your fellow humans.
