Take a journey of heart to wholeness. The Embodied Elemental Journey is a four-step process, taking you through teachings of Nature's elements -- fire, earth, air, and water. You will experience mind-bodyfulness (beingfulness) as you learn to connect with Nature from within through embodied movement as your wander from the Montreal cityscape to the beautiful, sacred landscape of Tiohtià:ke Otsira'kéhne in Mount Royal.

Each hour, you will make a connection with a different element by “sensing” the environment and your internal changes (mental and physical states). This journey helps you achieve a peaceful and mindful state, reduce stress/anxiety/depression symptoms, manage emotions, and increase wellbeing and health.

How do we connect to the elements?
Imagine your body made of the 4 Elements of Nature: Fire, Earth, Air, Water.
Each carries a gift, something unique. Monica will teach you to recognize, accept, absorb, integrate, embody and then manifest those gifts through your body, your actions, and your life in the present moment.

The Elements:

Water. Connection and Healing.

Find the sacred space in which the alchemy of emotional transformation happens. Experience fluidity, gratitude and sharing.

Fire. Movement and Transformation.

Move your body to transform your inner state, experiencing lightness and freedom. Experience intention to achieve transformation.

Earth. Support and Nourishment.

Connect with the ground and find your roots to aspire higher.

Experience balance, stability, self-support.

Air. Breath and Communication.

Breathing as the bridge connecting your inner and outer space. Experience how to choose thoughts and words to create a better environment.


What you’ll learn:

  • Mind-bodyfulness movement meditations and explorations inspired by the elements of Nature and the landscape

  • Breathing awareness and breathing strategies to manage emotions

  • Intrinsic sensory integration (the integration of the information coming from within and outside)

  • How our thoughts, emotions, body posture and environmental responses are interconnected, and how to improve our ability to cope with stress by reconnecting with Nature.

Join Monica and Earth Connect in this amazing half-day journey. Spaces are limited to keep the space intimate.

This workshop is scheduled for Sunday, September 22nd, with a "rain date" to be announced.
Notice of reschedule due to inclement weather will be emailed to you two days before the event so you can request a refund if you cannot make the rain date. Refunds up to the day before the event.

Meeting location will be provided in the confirmation email.

What to bring/wear:

  • Water, hat, yoga mat or blanket, pillows/cushions for sitting and a snack

  • Wear appropriate shoes, like hiking shoes or sneakers; something that won’t fall off your feet and are sturdy for walking in the forest.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Metro station nearby. Paid parking in the surrounding areas. This is also close to the university.

What's the refund policy?

Refunds up to 1 day in advance. Rescheduled date, in the event of rain, will be emailed to participants two days beforehand so you have a chance to ask for a refund if necessary. In the event of inclement weather, a "rain date" will be announced.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes or a confirmation on your email that you can show the organizer.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
