Event description

Description

Join Rabbi Sarah Tasman for an Elul Writing Workshop to enter the Jewish New Year with mindfulness and intention. Tuesdays September 3, 10, and 17th at the Center for Mindful Living.

Elul is a time of reflection, meditation, and spiritual preparation for the Jewish New Year. In this three-part writing workshop, we'll begin to let go of the past year as we begin our process of turning toward the New Year.

Session One will focus on a spiritual year in review as we take a look back over the past year, what we accomplished, and where we missed the mark. In Session Two we'll examine the different areas of our life, taking stock of what's important. In Session Three, we'll set intentions for the New Year.

Each session will include spiritual icebreakers, guided meditation, personal writing, learning, and discussion.

Open to all backgrounds and all genders.

Please bring a journal and a pen.
