WHAT IS THIS PITCH A FRIEND? "Pitch a Friend” is a fun way to introduce your single friend to others — you highlight their best qualities and help them make real connections specially with all the Desis.

Note - This is not a Matrimonial event, this event is to make new friends or find a single who is just like you and this is not a structured speed dating event.

1. Hotel we are trying to get a hotel near the venue where we will do this event and get you discounted room rates
2. Flights - you can fly in and let us know if you are coming in from other cities
3. Guest expected - 50 to 60 in count
4. Venue to be near by the hotel
5. Appetizers to be provided, this is not going to be a full dinner type menu

Rules about behavior:

Any rude behavior will not be tolerated and will result in immediate removal and banning from future events, with NO REFUNDS.

Important:

These events are exclusively for South Asians who are genuinely looking to build meaningful relationships. This particular one is a mixer — but meant for serious singles. Join if you’re truly seeking commitment or have friends who are sincerely looking for the same.

REFUND POLICY

• If refunds are available please check the rules below we have very specific rules for some refunds. Only if approved by our team.

Any refunds that are approved and completed will be for the price paid for the ticket less any "Eventbrite fees" or "Sulekha fees" and/or "platform service fees", both of which are payable to platforms where you paid. Each platform where you buy tickets mentions that in their rules of purchase.

Our refund policy acknowledges that events may undergo changes due to unforeseen circumstances, such as cancellations by attendees, inclement weather, natural disasters, venue issues or any health-related concerns.

We are under no legal obligation to host any event based solely on providing any related updates at any point in time.

In other words, our obligation to provide services is not absolute, under any circumstances.

Further, please be advised that a cancellation due to any of the above reasons may occur at any time before the scheduled event. If there is an event cancellation, any registered attendees will be granted the option for a full refund less any applicable fees, as explained above.

Other reasons for an event cancellation and any subsequent information pertaining to refund requests are listed below:

Sickness - A full refund, less any applicable fees, may be provided to registrants no less than 7 days -calendar days before the scheduled event date. If event date is postponed then also same rule applies.

Preference Changes - If a registrant changes his/her mind at any time after the purchase of a ticket for a scheduled event and/or subsequently does not attend a scheduled event, the registrant will be deemed a "no-show" and no refunds, under any circumstances, will be provided.

No show - in a different situation, if you buy a ticket and arrive at the venue / online but choose not to attend, please note that refunds will not be provided. You will be counted as a no-show. You can use the ticket as a credit to attend another event.

Postponed - A full refund, less any applicable fees, may be provided to registrants if an event is postponed at any time before the scheduled day/time. We will ask you before if you want to get a credit or full refund.

Cancellations - A full refund, less any applicable fees, may be provided to registrants if an event is officially cancelled. A notification regarding the cancellation may be provided at any time before the commencement of an event which may be scheduled for at some point during a given month, week or up to the day/time of the scheduled event, itself.

Format-

If we’re unable to host this as an in-person event, there will be no changes to the format — this particular event will simply be canceled, and all attendees will receive a full refund.

Our responsibility with regards to refund requests extends only to purchased tickets and is strictly limited to the price paid for tickets, less any applicable fees. Any additional expenses incurred by a registrant such as (but not limited to) any kind of traveling arrangements or any related expenses thereof (flights, hotels, meals etc.) will not be reimbursed by our company.
