Calling all volunteer coordinators!
The CABQ Volunteers Advisory Board is holding another in-person Community of Practice event!
Please join us for a fun event focused on sharing impactful tools, new and timeless, among other volunteer coordinators who are passionate about supporting volunteers and our larger community.
This event is open to all volunteer coordinators. We hope you'll build lasting connections and take great ideas into your regular work.
Attendees will enjoy presentations from other coordinators and partake in conversations centered on communicating with and recruitment and retaning volunteers from various generations.
A few notes:
Check in begins at 11:45.
Please arrive in time to start at 12:00.
You may bring food and drink as it will NOT be offered by the location.
Wear your name badge from work if you have one.
Photos of the event will be taken and may be shared online. If you wish NOT to be included in these, please let us know when you check in.
Volunteer coordinators are in unique positions - we engage community members AND look for solutions to community issues. We're also always looking for more ways to support volunteers and sustain their efforts. Our community of practice events are meant to reinvigorate our connections and share both resources and ideas for one another, to be a space for volunteer coordinators to discuss our experience and share insights among shared community toward finding those solutions.
