Two hands-on sessions to help you level up with your Google Docs Collaboration. Learn to get better at working o shared documents together with your team, as well as get practical, hands-on help setting up your project files and sharing them. In the professional world, being able to quickly and efficiently work together in a shared, collaborative environment will give you an edge over people who still email files around and take weeks to compile reports.
Session 1: Organizing and Sharing: Saturday, January 5, 2018, 10:00 - 12:00
- Learn to set up your Google Drive with folders corresponding to your needs.
- Create new documents and share them with others
Session 2: Real-time collaboration and publishing: Saturday, January 12, 2018, 10:00 - 12:00
- Learn to search through your Google Drive and various Apps, on web and mobile devices
- Real-time editing in a shared document
- Publish your document and share it on websites and social media
How to prepare
Please bring your laptop or tablet to get the most out of the hands-on portions.
Make sure you've set up your Google account, either through Gmail or through your organization. You can participate on most platforms, but the organizing features require a Google account.
