Is your chilled water system operating at design Δ T or greater at part load conditions - while delivering effective results to the connected loads? Design conditions should result in design Δ T of course - but how often is your chilled water system operating at full design conditions?

Understanding a chilled water system as a system – recognizing the characteristics of different system configurations and components - and the interaction of the components - is necessary for an effective and efficient operating system. Efficient equipment does not necessarily result in an effective and efficient chilled water system.

This four hour seminar covers chilled water systems as a system - starting with a historical overview and identifying different design configurations. It then covers the characteristics of production, distribution, pumping and load coils and their interactions. It concludes with the opportunities and objectives of chilled water system optimization.
