Join the Brain Vision Solutions Team for a one day workshop as we cover the principles of EEG data acquisition and the basics of using BrainVision Analyzer 2. Topics will range from basic data review through artifact handling, pre-processing, analysis, and exporting measures of interest.

You do not need your own BVA2 license to attend! A trial license for BrainVision Analyzer will be provided to attendees. Attendees are expected to bring their own Windows laptop (Windows 10 or 11 OS) to this event with BrainVision Analyzer installed (installer file will be sent via email ahead of time).   • 09:30 – 10:00 Welcome, introductions, verifying Analyzer installations
  • 10:00 – 10:45 Module 0: Basic principles of EEG and data acquisition [How to build a task that will offer analyzable data]
  • 10:45 – 11:00 Morning break
  • 11:00 – 12:00 Module 1: Introduction to BrainVision Analyzer [Loading data, user interface, overview of functions, visualization options and resources]
  • 12:00 – 13:15 Break for lunch (not included)
  • 13:15 – 14:15 Module 2: Pre-processing and artifact handling [Marker editing, re-referencing, data filtering, artifact handling through data inspection and ICA]
  • 14:15 – 15:15 Module 3: Event-related potentials/ERPS analyses [Segmentation, baselining, averaging and grand averaging ]
