Seeking next-generation educational simulations that strengthen career and technical skills.

On November 2, 2016 the U.S. Department of Education launched the EdSim Challenge. With $680,000 in cash prizes and additional in-kind awards from sponsors, the Challenge calls for concepts for immersive simulations that transfer academic, technical, and employability skills. The Department is most interested in immersive and engaging simulations that include clearly defined learning goals and build diverse skill sets.

On November 16th, the U.S. Department of Education is hosting a live webinar to provide provide key information and discuss questions about the Challenge.

Albert Palacios, Education Program Specialist at the Office of Career, Technical and Adult Education will host the webinar.
