Edinburgh Robotics Meetup

In Edinburgh, a robot is always just a stone throw away. If you'd like know the people who are making this happen or maybe you just want to make sure the robots are friendly, then this is the event you've been looking for.

This time we're welcoming guests from across the UK coming to the UK Manipulaiton Workshop. This will be great opportunity to find out more about latest work in robot manipulation directly from the people who are making it happen.

As usual, this is your chance to socialise and network with professionals, academics and enthusiasts across Edinburgh. It is the place for you if you are looking for a drink and chat about robotics, have an interesting problem you need a second pair of eyes on, want to find out about careers in robotics, are looking for an internship, job or your next star employee, want to find a co-founder, or if you watched a movie you’d like to talk about.

Lightning talks: We'll be also running a session of lightning talks. If you'd like to give a speedy 3 minute talk please do get in touch. Best way to sign up for a lightning talk is via the slack channel. We're looking for a variety of topics. Anything goes: from software tools, favourite robot toys, 3D printer tips and tricks, summary of your latest research paper, pitch of your latest idea, new programming langue you like, to your plan change the world.
