Edge of Eternities: Magic the Gathering Pre-Release Event

Join us at the Highball for the Pre-Release of Magic The Gathering: Edge of Eternities!

Pre-Release events are sealed events., your prerelease kit will contain 6 packs of cards and a foil rare or mythic rare card. These cards constitute your card pool for building a 40 card sealed deck.

You will have 50 minutes to build, then 50 minutes to play 3 rounds. The best of three will have a chance to win additional prizes!

You will need to register for this event to secure your spot by purchasing a ticket.

When you get to The Highball inside Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar, there will be a check-in table where you will indicate what pod you want to play in and pay for your kit.

Please note: Pre-release kits MUST be purchased upon sign-up for this event and are only available in person the day of --these will be $34.99!

What if I have never played Magic: The Gathering?

No Problem! ABC will be running two pods at this event. The first pod will be for entry-level Magic Players or casual players. This is a great way to get introduced to Magic: The Gathering in a relaxed setting!

The second pod will be for more seasoned players. You will be asked at check-in, which pod you would like to join. All levels of players are welcome!
