Ecstatic Dance Enjoy Troy! A space to set your spirit loose.

Step into an afternoon of pure expression and embodied freedom at the Mt Ida Preservation Hall.

This is your invitation to move your way. Big or small, wild or gentle, every movement is welcome. Let the music guide you, let your body surprise you, and let go of everything that holds you back.

12:25– 12:40 PM 🔥Warm up with Nicole Mastroianni: Awaken the Elements – An Embodiment Experience. Join Nicole Mastroianni for a 15-minute embodiment warm-up designed to attune your body to the elemental energies of earth, water, fire, and air. Through intuitive movement, breath, and sensory awareness, you’ll be guided out of the mind and into the body, grounding, flowing, igniting, and expanding. This experience gently awakens your inner landscape and prepares you to step into the ecstatic dance space fully present, open, and alive.

12:40 – 1:40 PM 💃🌀 Ecstatic Dance DJ set with DJ ATLAS! 💃🌀No steps to follow - just wild beats, full-body freedom, and your soul on the dance floor! Atlas weaves journeys of rhythm and soul, music that awakens the body and spirit. Originally from Guatemala, Atlas draws inspiration from Afro-Caribbean rhythms, deep global bass, tribal grooves, sensual melodies, and drum beats. Whether you're shaking something loose or finding your flow, Atlas invites you to drop in, let go, leave the coldness of the world behind and come dance.

1:40 – 1:50 PM 🌙 Sound Healing Cool Down with IshaSink into stillness as Isha guides you through a soothing sound healing journey. Let the vibrations of chimes and gentle tones wash over you, calming the nervous system and integrating your dance into deep peace and presence.

1:50 – 2:00 PM Closing circle & sweet send-off

🌈 Meet the Organizer – Isha Justyna Kostek is a vibrant force of movement, music, and transformation. A certified OSHO Active Meditation facilitator and sound healer trained in India, she is the founder of abunDANCE, a unique practice that blends somatic release, ecstatic movement to awaken joy, presence, and abundance from within.

Born in Poland and now based in Upstate New York, Isha brings a global spirit and grounded heart to every event she creates. With a background in theater, trauma healing, and equine-assisted therapy, she weaves deep presence with playful freedom, creating sacred spaces where people can fully express, feel, and heal.

Isha has been leading Ecstatic Dance Oneonta since 2024, igniting dance floors with soul-stirring blends of organic house, Afro rhythms, and world beats.

When she’s not dancing barefoot under the stars, you’ll find her with the horses - listening, loving, and co-regulating with her hooved teachers.

🌈 Meet warm up facilitator – Nicole Mastroianni is an embodiment guide, expressive arts facilitator, and founder of Creative Roots Children. As a solo parent and trauma-informed coach, she blends movement, mindfulness, and creative expression to help others reconnect with their bodies, emotions, and inner wisdom. Nicole creates soulful spaces for healing, joy, and authentic self-expression, where movement becomes both medicine and magic.

🕺 What is Ecstatic Dance Troy? Ecstatic Dance is a freeform dance practice where you can move however you feel without any judgment or concern for the "right" way to dance. It's a space for you to be yourself, let go of stress, and connect with others through the universal language of movement.

The Blessings of Ecstatic Dance:

  • BE PRESENT (no phones or cameras)
  • EMBODIMENT (no talking or verbal communication)
  • CLEAR MIND (no intoxicants)
  • BE CONSENSUAL (make eye contact and CONFIRM a “YES”, respect others' space, crossed arms or looking away means “NO”
  • GROUNDING (outside shoes permitted but dancing barefoot recommended!)
  • BE FREE. DANCE HOW YOU WANT. NO JUDGEMENT.

This event is produced by Just More Theater Inc., a non-profit 501 (c3) theater company dedicated to promoting arts education in schools as well as spreading joy and bliss through movement, creativity, and meditation.
