This EcoSessions will gather leaders in the latest in 'smart textiles' to discuss how technology, innovation and socially responsible approaches can foster a more sustainable future in the fashion industry.

As an advocate for sustainable ethical manufacturing, Scott is working on ways to increase productivity while reducing energy and water consumption associated with current manufacturing procedures.

Syuzi Pakhchyan, User Experience Lead, BCG Digital Ventures BCG Digital Ventures is a corporate investment and incubation firm. They invent, build and invest in startups with the world’s most influential companies. They share risk and invest alongside their corporate and startup partners via a range of collaborative options. Some of their major locations include Manhattan Beach, Berlin, London, Sydney, San Francisco and New York.

Kristine Upesleja, Founder, Madisons Innovative Materials Madisons Innovative Textiles curates an annual Innovative Materials Conference/Exhibit with guest speakers from the innovative industries such as Patagonia, Michael Schmidt Studios, Avery Denison, Prana and Textile Exchange. Kristine works with companies such as Hugo Boss, Adidas, C.P.Company, Stone Island, Lenzing, Vitra, Patagonia, Schoeller, Cocona, Recover, S3 Studios and Suzanne Lee, founder of Biocouture and Gary Cass, founder of Fermented Fashion, to name a few.

MODERATOR:

Kendra Gratteri, Chief Customer Officer, Avametric Avametric, an Augmented Reality company that develops AR content and 3D clothing simulation tools for the fashion space. Prior to Avametric, she was VP of Merchandising for the social commerce start-up Beachmint. As the company’s founding fashion hire, Kendra helped guide the company through its Conde Nast merger in 2014.
