Building Solutions: How Policy, Funding and Opportunity Shape San Diego’s Economy

Now in its 42nd year, the Economic Roundtable brings together regional leaders, economists, and workforce experts to explore how national and state-level economic and policy shifts are shaping San Diego’s workforce, affordability and access to opportunity.

Co-hosted by the University of San Diego’s Knauss School of Business, the San Diego Workforce Partnership (SDWP), and the Regional Policy & Innovation Center (PIC), this year's event focuses on Building Solutions, exploring practical strategies for understanding how federal funding changes affect state responses and local realities—and how these dynamics influence workforce participation, economic competitiveness and long-term regional prosperity.
