Between fast fashion and the ease of online shopping, it can be difficult to purchase clothes in ways that benefit the environment. K will lead a brief introduction to the ethics of textiles and shopping guides, and then lead a simple workshop on a creative way to reuse old garments. Please bring old t-shirts, sweatshirts/pants, and other cotton garments you would otherwise throw out - bring strong scissors if you have them as well.

K Kriesel (they/them) is a local textile artist who has been sewing roughly a third of their wardrobe since 2015.

This is a hybrid program. Please choose either Virtual or In-person Attendance when registering.
