Overview

Join ActiveSGV for our 2025/2026 E-asy Access rides coming from our Jeff Seymour Family Center!

Join ActiveSGV for our 2025/2026 E-asy Access rides coming from our Jeff Seymour Family Center. We will ride to various points of interest and learn more about the Emerald Necklace network and its connections. This week, we are partnering with our very own SGV Water Action team to celebrate local water resilience and learn how our community is building a more sustainable water future.

Along the route, we'll stop to discover how LA County's Safe Clean Water Program (Measure W) is funding green infrastructure and stormwater capture projects right here in the San Gabriel Valley. Did you know that about 50% of Southern California's water is imported from Northern California or the Colorado River? Through hands-on learning and engaging discussions, you'll discover how investing in local stormwater projects strengthens our water independence—especially as we face the challenges of climate change.

We will also be stopping by the Baldwin Park Holiday Fest at Morgan Park. Bring cash for snacks and dress up in your best Santa/Elf/Holiday outfit to receive an extra raffle ticket!

Start/finish at: Jeff Seymour Family Center (10900 Mulhall St., El Monte, CA. 91731) and travel on both city streets and bike paths. Due to the length, this ride is not recommended for anyone under the age of 12.

Pre-registration and attendance confirmation are required for all participants. If you are attending with other family members, each person must be registered separately.

You can register to ride a GoSGV e-bike FREE. Register now to guarantee your spot! *Please note: ID is required to use a reserved e-bike; restrictions apply.

About the E-asy Access Program:

The E-asy Access program is designed to reduce barriers to accessing parks and recreational areas in the San Gabriel Valley by providing residents with no-cost access to good-quality electric commuter bicycles. Through a parks grant (Measure A), ActiveSGV participants can now easily access the San Gabriel and Rio Hondo River Trails and connect to dozens of parks and communities across the central San Gabriel Valley, including destinations like Whittier Narrows, Santa Fe Dam, and Hilda Solis Overlook Park.
