Welcome to the EACH ONE TEACH ONE WORLD BICYCLE DAY event! Join us on Sat Jun 07 2025 at Detective Keith L. Williams Park for a day filled with fun and cycling. This event is all about sharing knowledge and skills about bicycle riding. Come and learn how to ride, maintenance tips, and safety techniques from fellow cyclists. Let's celebrate the joy of cycling together and promote a healthier lifestyle. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to connect with the cycling community and learn how to ride.. Participants must be 5 years old and olders, adults welcome to learn as well. Only the names of the participants learning how to ride must register through Eventbrite. First session starts at 10:30 AM, second session at 1:00pm. All participants must come with their own bicycles and safety helmets. See you there!

What age do you have to be to learn how to ride?

Participants must be 5 years old and up. Session will be divided into two groups, 5 - 11 year olds and 12 and up.

Do participants have to have their own bicycle to participate?

Yes, participants must have their own bicycle and protective gear.

What is protective wear?

Participants must wear a bicycle helmet, elbow and knee pads, as well as long pants highly recommended.

How many sessions will there be?

This event will have two sessions for bicycle riding lessons, 10:30 and 1:00. Participant can only register for one session. Only the names of the new riders should be registered.

Should the parents / legal guardian also register?

No, only register the names of who will be learning how to ride their bicycles.

Can I just drop my child off for the lessons?

No, parents / guardians must remain in the park with their child for the duration of the lesson and or event.

Are walk ins welcomed the day of the event?

If space is available due to no shows, walk ins are welcome but must register as a walk in at the Check In table, and have their own bicycle and helmet.

Will there be a rain date?

Unfortunately no rain date.

Will the participant need a waiver form to learn how to ride?

Yes, a waiver form will need to be filled out prior to the bike riding lessons.
