The virtual roundtable examines the laws and policies concerning undocumented students and provides a discussion of how best stakeholders can support their undocumented students.

The roundtable discussion is intended to provide participants with the opportunity to talk with and ask questions to a subject matter expert related to the various laws and policies concerning undocumented students. The presenter will provide an update of the law concerning DACA and undocumented students and discuss how to best navigate students through the P-20 pipeline.

This roundtable will give you an update on the law concerning undocumented students and DACA, create a discussion on navigating policies for academic success for undocumented students, and provide support to school leaders and teachers working with undocumented students.

By the end of the roundtable, you will be able to better understand the laws and policies concerning undocumented students, know the rights of your undocumented students, and be able to advise and advocate for undocumented students.
