DYAO Presents: Golden Hour

Join the Denver Young Artists Orchestra for Golden Hour, a radiant matinee celebration of music and youth on Sunday, November 16 at 3:30 PM at Littleton United Methodist Church. Featuring performances by the String Ensemble, Allegro Strings, and Conservatory Orchestra, the program blends the elegance of Handel and Holst, the vivid colors of Debussy and Whitacre, and the bold voices of Piazzolla, Singleton, and Newbold. Highlighting the afternoon is a special appearances by local musicians Jason Shafer, Lauren Jacobson, and Karen Kinzie joining the orchestra for a sparkling performance of Mendelssohn’s Konzertstück No. 1. Like the golden light of late afternoon, this concert captures a moment of warmth, brilliance, and reflection—showcasing the extraordinary talent of Colorado’s finest young musicians.
