Friday, 12.5.25
1st Set: Rick Shelley
2nd Set: Boo Rigney, Jeremie Levi Samson & Bill Casale
Rick Shelley, an Americana singer/songwriter, emerged into the Southern California music scene in 2015. A richly evocative storyteller, his songs employ an economy of language that recall Texas troubadours like Robert Earl Keen and Guy Clark. He shares his hard-won wisdom with pathos, humor and grace. Every narrative accompanied by indelible melodies and killer hooks.
Boo Rigney & Jeremie Levi Samson with Bill Casale will be performing a mix of well known covers in their own style. Boo sings and plays guitar and Jérémie, a virtuoso violinist... elevates every song. Bill Casale on bass will give every tune a beautiful full sound.
Friday, 12.12.25. Jazzgrass
JazzGrass fuses barn-burning string traditions with jazz harmony and improvisation. Formed in 1999 by pianist Barnaby Finch after hearing Telluride’s legendary “Strength In Numbers.” The band delivers toe-tappin’ bluegrass, Appalachian roots, and soulful swing in a single set.
Featuring:
- Lily McCabe – fiddle / vocals
- Don Reed – mandolin, dobro, guitar
- Jeremie Levi – French virtuoso fiddler
- Bill Saitta (boom) – bass anchor of Coachella Valley
- Jeff Olson (chick) – first-call SoCal drummer
- Bob Hamilton – seasoned studio guitarist
Together, they honor writers like Jerry Douglas, Béla Fleck, Pat Metheny, Dave Grusin, and the Allman Brothers plus originals by Barnaby Finch himself.
