“The Collective We” is a visual meditation on identity, belonging, and shared humanity—told through the expressive lens of contemporary figurative painting and photography.
Featuring international artists Kateryna Bortsova and Puja Sarkar, this exhibition centers the human form as both subject and symbol: a vessel of culture, memory, and emotional truth.
About the Artist
Kateryna Bortsova is a classically trained painter and graphic artist whose dreamlike figures are often partially veiled by balloons and blooms. Her work explores the beauty and ambiguity of self-representation, merging classical technique with philosophical depth. Bortsova has exhibited across Europe, Asia, and the U.S., earning international acclaim.
Puja Sarkar is a Kolkata-based, Indian Visual Artist, Curator, and Social Activist. Her bold, autobiographical works explore feminism and personal memory through surrealist and pop art elements. A post-graduate in visual art of Rabindra Bharati University, she has worked as a full-time artist for over 16 years and founded 'SMS - A Group of Artists' a socio-cultural organisation, promoting artists and art practices worldwide to support underprivileged children and women through art. Puja’s work has been shown internationally in Italy, France, UK, USA, Korea, and more, earning her multiple awards including a Junior Fellowship from India’s Ministry of Culture for her Excellence Contribution to the Culture.
