In this presentation, we will explore the innovative approach of dual modality feeding, combining enteral and parenteral nutrition to address the challenges faced by patients requiring nutritional support. We will discuss the inherent limitations of enteral nutrition, including potential interruptions, malabsorption issues, and the risk of underfeeding. We will finish the presentation with implementation strategies on how to effectively initiate and manage dual modality feeding, and how it improves patient outcomes.
