From the shadows, it awakens once more... a design competition unlike any other!

The WR3NCH is a weeklong contest is where the fearless thrive and the faint of heart don't dare enter.

Are you scary talented? Do you have killer design skills? If you're not frightened, we're dying to tell you more.

ENTER IF YOU DARE
The laboratory doors creak open for new blood in this frightening competition. If you’re in your first five years as a creative professional, this is your chance to experiment and spark ideas to life without fear of the torch-wielding mobs. At the Kickoff Party, we'll announce the creative challenge and give you a full week to craft and concoct your most creative solutions. More details below.

STAY FOR THE MOVIE SCREENING
If you're not scared off by this year's design challenge, we'll be screening a retro horror movie to follow the big announcement. Don't skip on the popcorn and candy!

LIVE FINALE SHOWDOWN
A week later, the audience gathers. The lights dim. A devious twist will be delivered. The finalists face their final fate. In one night of high-voltage spectacle, only one will rise to claim the Golden Wrench and the fame that follows.

THE WR3NCH RETURNS.... Will you survive the night?

Here’s how it works:

• Contestants must be around the first 5 years of their creative career to participate.
• THE WR3NCH Kickoff Party will be held on Wednesday, October 22 at 7 PM at Arts Mission Oak Cliff.
• After the creative challenge is revealed, contestants will have 6 days to submit their project to thewrench@dsvc.org.
• Entry deadline: Wednesday, October 29 at 7 AM. Late entries will automatically be disqualified.
• A panel of judges will review and select finalists to compete in the Live Finale Showdown.
• Finalists will be confirmed and announced by Wednesday, October 29 at noon.
• THE WR3NCH Live Finale will be held on Wednesday, October 29 at 7 PM at White Unicorn Agency.
• At the Live Finale, finalists will receive a dramatic change to the creative challenge — that's why we call it THE WR3NCH — and must adapt LIVE in front of an audience.
• Finalists will have 1 hour to complete THE WR3NCH’s requirements and additional twists.
• Finalists will be judged on adaptability, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure.
• A winner will be determined by the judges panel.
