The Dignity in Schools Campaign (DSC) and Communities for Just Schools Fund (CJSF) are hosting a National Week of Action Event:

Classrooms Rising A Critical Conversation on Race and Racism in Education

The event is part of the DSC 8th Annual National Week of Action Against School Pushout and the launch of a National Conversation on Race in education by CJSF. Our local hosts include Black Man Rising, Families and Friends of Louisiana's Incarcerated Children (FFLIC), Community Education Project of New Orleans and Center for Ethical Living and Social Justice Renewal.

The event will include:

4:00pm - Opening and Highlights from DSC National Week of Action Against School Pushout

4:20pm - Keynote Presentation by Hip Hop Artist and Actor David Banner #GodBox, including Q&A with the audience and art exhibit

5:30pm - Performances by local artists, youth and parents, including highlights from actions across the country

6:30pm - Dinner and Closing Performances
