About this event

The U.S. Socialist movement has experienced growth and decline for over a century. A recent historical study published by the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung NYC Office compared the Socialist Party of the early 1900s with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) of today, examining their similarities and differences in electoral and labor strategy, as well as their internal tendencies.

Join a conversation with author David Duhalde and national DSA leaders Jeremy Cohen, Sid Carlson White, and Eleanor Babaev as they discuss how the socialist organization can learn from the past to prepare for the political challenges of today and tomorrow.

Space is limited. We encourage early RSVP as seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis
