Registration will close on Thursday, April 23rd. There will be NO onsite registration.

What is the registration fee?

This event is free for all attendees.

Do I have to be a member of a school graduation team to attend?

No, it is not required that you be a member of a graduation team to attend this event. However, attendees will find the content more beneficial if they attend as a member of an existing team or a newly forming team.

What if I am not sure if my school/district has a graduation team?

No problem! Email us at transition@uscmed.sc.edu and will provide assistance.

How do I form a graduation team?

Do you have one or more school-based teams dedicated to improving graduation outcomes for youth at-risk of dropping out of high school?

Join the SC Department of Education, the National Dropout Prevention Center, and the Transition Alliance of South Carolina for a day of professional development, networking, and strategic planning.

School-based graduation teams will leave the 1st Annual South Carolina Spring Dropout Prevention Symposium with updated information, resources, and tools - ready to carry your updated implementation plans into the 2026-2027 school year! Please plan to register early! Space is limited.
