About Dave Van Patten

Dave Van Patten is a Grammy Award winning album artist, illustrator, muralist, and designer from Long Beach CA, best known for his colorful imagery, playful surrealism and humorous tone. With a foundation in comics, Van Patten branched out into large-scale mural work with World Wide Walls (POW!WOW!) in 2016 and 2017, allowing his tiny comic drawings to span across entire buildings.

Since then Van Patten has painted murals throughout Long Beach and around the world. The bulk of his inspiration is pulled from dark humor comics, 1960's surrealism, garage rock/punk albums, and modern societal absurdity.

About Kashira Edghill

Kashira Edghill is a painter, sculptor, musician, and filmmaker. She dabbles in different mediums including pastel, paint, colored pencils and collage. Her work mostly depicts abstractions of people or satirical distortions of traditional scenes. Edghill enjoys trying to elevate something ugly into something beautiful, and taking something plain or commonplace, only to spike it with disturbing implications. Each piece expresses a different room in her mind.
