Join Dr Mary Fisher-Morris for a thought-provoking, practical 1-hour workshop exploring the real-world impact of ageing and memory on driving.

Whether you’re worried about a parent, partner, or friend — or want to understand more about driving and cognitive changes — this session is for you.

We’ll explore how driving is impacted as we age, how cognitive changes affect driving behaviour, and why muscle memory and cognition play such a vital role.

Dr Fisher-Morris will also share insights from the DECISION research project (Driver Effect of Cognitive Impairment and Spatial Orientation and Navigation), present real-life case studies, and offer practical coping strategies, including mind games and memory exercises.

Dr Mary Fisher-Morris has a background in nursing, a PhD in psychology, and a strong research focus in neuropsychology and memory. She runs Memcheck, a memory screening and advice service, and is currently working on three major research projects with Professor Michael Hornberger at the University of East Anglia exploring cognitive impairment and driving. She also serves as a member of the Secretary of State for Transport’s Honorary Medical Advisory Panel on Driving and Psychiatric Disorders.

🗣️Come away with a deeper understanding, reassurance, and tools you can use or share with others.
